After a long process, New Business School Amsterdam has been granted the status of Institute of Higher Education by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as of 1 August 2010. The official letter has finally arrived and the spirit is now one of celebration and joy. This crucial step in the accreditation process is a significant move forward toward the school's future aims and its commitment to academic quality.

The final step in accreditation process is a positive decision from the NVAO (Nederlands Vlaams Accreditatie Orgaan) concerning the quality of education. This test is a confirmation of the fact that the quality of education has already been positively reviewed earlier this year. Therefore it can be considered a formality.

The NVAO is expected to announce their decision in time for the start of the academic year. Following this, the New Business School Amsterdam, as an institution, will be officially incorporated in the CROHO (Centraal Register Opleidingen Hoger Onderwijs) and consequently the BBA New Business will be an approved degree course.

As soon as this announcement takes place, students will be able to submit applications for study finance and be eligible for a free public transport pass and so are able to enjoy fully the benefits of a Dutch accreditation.
